Exclamation th400 swap torque arm question?

hello my fellow ls1techers I've got a question I'm having trouble finding and havent had time to call one of the sponsors hope they chime in..

I'm getting my suspension set up for a th400 swap coming from jakes performance,

my question is, if I use the bmr crossmember with no torque arm mount part #Tcc003 and use the xtreme torque arm with crossbrace replacement part #Xta001.

what are the benefits of using the crossbrace torque arm kit? instead of the crossmember with t/a relocation?

is a shorter t/a beneficial?

thanks for your help please input any advice
the car is a 355 lt1 with lots of nitrous, goal is 10.50 et and streetable when i decide to cruise..

The shorter torque arm (XTA001 or TPU001) is better suited to drag racing and will provide a faster response and better levereage compared to a long style torque arm (TA001) for drag racing and straight line performance. With the shorter style toque arm you will have more noise under regular driving conditions then you would with a longer style torque arm. If you are willing to sacrifice some ride quality and are mainly worried about drag racing and straight line performance a shorter torque arm will be your best bet, For your times I would recommend the Trak Pak (TPU001) over the Xtreme torque arm (XTA001) because it will easily handle what you are going to throw at it and will save you a couple $$$.
