I recently did the heater hose mod on my 2000 TA and now when I launch at thr track it seems like im bottoming out on something. I trimmed the bump stops down a little but it didnt seem to help. Anyone else have this issue or an idea what is bottoming out? I was thinking maybe the shocks?

another vote for shocks. When I did the heater hose mod it didnt lower it enough to make any difference to the car unless youve seen it every day. Are you already on lower springs? If not the quarter inch drop the heater hose mod gives you shouldnt be that drastic to cause bottoming out issues you didnt previously have.

Thanks for the info guys. yes im still on stock shocks and like stated above i got about 3/4" drop and I didnt think that would affect anything neither but the car has 65k miles on it with the factory shocks so they may be a little softer than they should be.
