Default Pinion angle right?

I just want to make sure i'm doing this right. I came out with the driveshaft at positive 5 and the pinion yoke at positive 6.5... to my understanding you subtract 5-6.5= -1.5? is that correct? Any and all help is appreciated, thank you.

What worked best for me was to make the rear pinion parallel to the output shaft of the trans. for a daily driver. If drag racing, make them parallel then drop the rear pinion down 1 to 2 degrees.
