I've seen quite a few people break them in the past, not sure if they redesigned it since then tho.. not really a fan of edelbrock in general.

The Edlebrock torque arm is a light duty replacement, I feel. Its not designed to take the abuse most of our cars are applying.
For a factory replacement arm that designed to handle the abuse while being a direct bolt in look at our part # 2205- www.umiperformance.com/2205
If I can help with any questions please ask.
Thanks!
Ryan

The non-adjustable torque arm is the same build quality as the adjustable it just doesn't allow you to adjust it if needed.
I think you will be just fine. I hope that helps!

Also our non-adjustable arm has 2 degrees of negative pinion angle built into it, the stock arm most likely has you at 0 degrees of pinion angle.
I hope that helps,
