Default RWAL brakes, can you hook up the VSS sensor that feeds the PCM to the DRAC also?

We put an LS1, complete with it's own PCM into an 89 S10 with factory rear wheel anti-lock brakes. In the original setup, the VSS sensor (from the 700R4) sent the speed signal to the DRAC (digital ratio adapter controller) before going to the ECM, cruise control, and RWAL modules. In the new system the VSS (from the 4L60E) feeds directly to the PCM which controls the speedo and cruise control. The Vette PCM also controls anti-lock brakes , but through traction control components that the truck doesn't have. Can we hook up the VSS output to the DRAC as well as the PCM, so that the DRAC will feed the original RWAL module, or will it load the VSS signal down too much? As this is a daily driver, we would like to keep the RWAL feature as it was designed to operate. The truck is incredibly fun to drive, but we figured that we need to be able to stop as well. It has been worth the wait, busted knuckles, and head scratching. After owning this S10 for 23+ years, it is a real pleasure to have the power!
Thanks for your input!
