I have a 98 trans am with the stock K-member. I recently bought a new 404 and planned on replacing the stock k member with a aftermarket one when I replaced the engine. My question is as follows. I have the C5 brake conversion on my trans am, witch means I cut the spindels ect. Will the C5 bracket conversion fit on any aftermarket K members.

Brakes will have nothing to do with any K-member. The lower A-Arms are what bolt to the K-member and then the spindle is connected to them by the ball joints. You will be fine.

As mentioned above, you wont have an issue at all. Just make sure that you buy a K-member that will allow you to use your factory A-arms. If you have any questions, let me know and I'll do the best I can to help you out.

take note of the bolt position on the stock K-member ,and use them as a starting point for a alignment on the new K=member.
