Lowered my car
Well I went and did it. I decided to lower my car, but I did it the cheap way.
I cut the springs. I cut 1.5 coils off of all 4. I put it all back together and it sits just about where I want it. The rear has just a tad more wheel gap than the front, so I may pull them out real quick and cut off another 1/4, but that won't take but a few minutes.
I took it out for a test drive and it road down the road pretty much stock like. I figured i'd put a few miles on it before I get it aligned (I'm talking like <10) to get it to settle in any.
I haven't really checked to see if the rearend needs an adjustable torque arm, but I didn't hear any rubbing, but I'll check it out.
I'd say for not costing anything except for an alignment (which I already needed) this is a pretty good mod that will tide me over until I get the springs and shocks I want.
