Default Strut tower brace question

I just installed my brace by UPI performance on my 2000 trans am, I didint have a tourque wrench on hand since alot of my tools are back home and the installation sheet recommended torquing to 32 foot pounds. Instead I tightened them very snug but not to the point where you couldent tighten the nuts any more and i did not strip the stud or cause any cross threading.. should my studs that are securing the brace be okay? or could they possibly break under pressure while the car is taking sharp corners?

32 lbs. isn't a lot. Unless you are going to autox I would not worry about it snapping with the gorilla grip you already seem to have put on it. I suggest buying a cheap TW from Harbor Frieght and get it right.

I was under the impression that a strut tower brace doesn't take as harsh a load on our vehicles as you would think. I've never heard of breaking/stripping a bolt out from a STB. I wouldn't worry about it.

You are probably right on the load on the shock tower brace. The OP seemed concerned so...
