Default Budget Drag Setup!

ok guys ive been doin my homework decided not to lower the car.

did decide to make it more for the track right now i have agx rear shocks with stock springs and factory 120k mile stock struts and springs.

itlll lift the front wheel just enough to see it.

i kno that my set up is wore out

so i decided to go with 70/30 Lakewood drag shocks and the 50/50 Lakewood Drag shocks for the rear..

But unsure to get v6 springs or just to get my factory v8 springs.

what do u guys suggest the v8 springs or the v6

those drag shocks should be alright for the street right??

thanks

93-97 V6 rear springs are softer. 98-02 all have the same rear springs.

I've been told the drag shocks would probably not be too fun on the street.

I can't say personally, but I'd think it would.

Running pure drag shocks on a car that gets driven on the street often isnt recommended. Drag racing shocks are only good for Drag racing IMO. Could become a headache when driving around town lol. I talked to a BMR sales representative about this month back. Pretty much if your car is 90% strip and 10% or lower for street use you should be good. As far as springs go I would go with V6 springs, I preffer them better for their drivability feel.

I like the V6 springs better than the V8 ones. More comfortable ride and stronger, personal experience
