Lowering Spring tire Clearence?
Hi everyone,
Im new to this site so sorry if my question is already answered elsewhere. I havwe looked all over and cant find an answer. I have a 2000 3.8 Camaro. Currently i have stock shocks and springs. I recently upgraded to the 275 SS wheels with 275/40/zr17 tires. Next i want to buy the Strano 1.2" lowering springs. My question is if I drop the car with these springs will i get tire rub in the front fender? thanks for any input or guidence

You will not have any clearance issues what so ever with that combination.

No problem just like those guys said... You know the wheels are stock GM, and the tire size is also stock and SS's did come (some anyway) lowered.

I did have some rub with sticky 275 tires in left-hand bends. That was with -2.5 camber though. Went back to -1.5 (which feels better with my car and handling preferences anyway) and didn't have any more problems...
