Default midwest chassis k member question???

I am very curious about mwc stating a 5" downpipe fitting. I need to know is this on the driverside? I know passenger side will work without ac but im asking for those who keep their a/c... anybody have pictures? Thanks.

Try asking in their thread or in the gears and axles section. That is where they post the most often.

That is passenger side... I'm not sure of any configuration that would be able to fit a 5"(or even 4 for that matter) pipe through the steering rack or linkage. Best thing is you don't have to pay extra for a heavy "turbo" model.

Haha great point! I didnt even think about the steering rack being in the way. I know a 4" fits on the driverside with BMR turbo K.

I was just wanting to know because i want maximum clearance due to keeping my a/c. Thanks for the reply though, i guess we'll find out how big i can go with my set up when the time comes.

You shouldnt have any problems, alot of people run big down pipes and have no issues.

Our K-member will actually fit up to a 5-inch downpipe along the passenger side. Nice to see a 4-inch clears the driver's side too.
