Default Pedal feel after DIY abs delete

After I deleted the abs I had my girl friend help me bleed the brakes. Maybe 10-12 times per wheel. I've not driven the car yet but from moving it around in the driveway the brakes seem to catch higher and quicker, a more touchy feeling, a better feeling. The weird thing about it though is it seems like the pedal has less travel. It seems like it goes down a couple inches and gets extremely hard like a brake booster problem but its not. Is it possible this is normal? I'm going to try driving the car a little while to see how they feel.

potential air in the system before you did the delete, so that they were pushing down a bit more?

Pedal travel felt the same to me but I would agree that they do seem to activate quicker as well as a better feel while self modulating. Could be what red04 says is the difference you are feeling travel wise.
