WS6 vs Standard Trans Am

Does a 2000 WS6 really have a different stance than a 2000 base Trans Am? Or is it just the performance difference in the springs?

From what I've read, it's possible that some of the 2000 WS6's have 1LE springs and some have stock springs. Both are at the same ride height.
