Try them both and see which feels better. I used the last hole (3") when my car was stock, worked great for me

IMO, for anything but dedicated dragstrip use you should use whichever setting puts your LCA's approximately parallel to the ground with weight on the suspension. If that's not possible then the axle attachment side can be slightly lower.

If you lower the rear attach point more than the front it will increase the "traction bar" effect during acceleration, however, it will hurt you just the same under hard braking.
