Default how to adjust A arms and tie rods?

ok I installed adjustable a arms and adjustable bump steer kit, I know I need to take it in for alignment but I want it somewhat close, everything is together now, one wheel faces outward and the other wheel faces outward the other way, any ideas or how should I go about adjusting it?

Possibly, then, your "adjustable a-arms" have to be adjusted so they move the wheels out further. (adjustable uppers or lowers?)

You mean your supplier didn't provide any instructions?

I'll go out on a limb here, and say that the "ends" of the a-arms, whether Heim or poly, have to be engaged in the stub of the arm by at least an amount equal to the diameter of the threaded end, which is probably somewhere between 3/4-1". If you have more that that engaged in the a-arms, you need to try coming out a turn or two.

Then you need to "unscrew" them a little. MAKE SURE YOU STILL HAVE AT LEAST 1" OF THREAD ENGAGEMENT!

Yes, as it appears that you need the lower a-arm to extend outward a bit. Unless you do both, you might not be able to properly adjust you caster and/or camber.

Looks like you need to remove it from the car and adjust the rod end to match the original a-arm. Here are the instructions from BMR's website:

http://www.bmrsuspension.com/siteart/install/AA002.pdf

Hope this helps.

Hi guys, I need to get my umi rod/rod Upper Lower arms as well.

Would be nice if someone shared some info on what I'm looking for to get the best result of the install. I tried the search yet other than ppl repeating "adjust to factory arms & mark the bolts before removing anything" there isn't much to read.
