Im not sure LOL! The car handles fine! UMI?

On another note, I test fit my OEM 10 spokes to see if they would fit and they do. So for the masses an OEM sized wheel will fit. I would venture to guess that the Torq Thrust II's will not fit.

Good to know on stock wheels!

The Speedline WS6 wheels look like they have a ton of spoke clearance.

Looks very nice! Is there any height/width difference compared to the oem brakes?

I think the width difference is minuscule.

Bear has a handy template on their website to help you determine what's what...

I saw the template. But I don't have my next set of rims yet. Looking at the Billet Specialties Street Lite 17x9.5" with a 7" BS. The spokes are flat on that but I'm not sure how they clear.

Does anyone know if the Baer brakes would clear the Street Lites?

The rotor is a full 1" larger in diameter than the OEM. The caliper doesn't appear to protrude any more than OE either. The rotor is designed for a stock backspaced wheel. This is what made me choose this kit over a CTS-V or like kit, no need for wheel adaptors etc.

Thanks, bro.

That pretty much answers it for me. TTIIs are still out of the question it seems, but if the BS Street Lites will clear, that'd be great.

I know the Weld RT-S 17s will. Their medium pad offers a lot of space. And the high pad will clear the 6-piston Brembos.

Btw, what brake pads does it come with? Baer branded pads? Or something else?

Is this a "kit specific" rotor or a C6 Vette rotor?

Looks awesome, back in the 90s you knew a car had serious coin in it if they had a Baer brake kit.

I believe this is a kit specific rotor with the appropriate f-body backspace or offset (what ever you call the rotor face) This is one of the many reasons why I chose this kit.
1. Quality of components, price and no need for spacers,
2. I am a proud supporter and customer of UMI and they are now running Baer brakes. So if its good for their A-Body it should stop a F-Body!
3. Pad availability, These use a 98-02 F-body brake pad; no need to wait on the 6 special pads some need with Brembos etc.
4. Made in 'Murica

Thanks all for the kind words! I am very pleased with this kit!

Thanks, I track my car and don't want to order higher priced rotors.

Two important things we're finding about Baer. (1) Their tech support is awesome and nearly anyone who answers the phone knows a lot of detail. Often I don't even need to talk to my engineering contact and (2) they seem to be THE choice at most of the events we go to as far as road race/Pro-Tour/Auto-x/hot street brake technology.

So would these fit under ZR1s? And how does one go about ordering replacement rotors?
