Well, for what it's worth I read the other thread you started. And it occurs to me the best shocks you had were Bilstein's. You had some adjustables, but nothing like a Koni, and you saw that even with some quite soft springs they didn't ride so well, which shows you what a shock can do poorly with soft springs. Stock shocks are "soft" and are pretty harsh, that only gets worse with stiffer springs because they have no hope of good control over them.

As for not needing adjustment. Wellllllll, maybe. If the adjustment is a good one, and useful it's nice to be able to tweak. Trouble is the "adjustable" shocks you had had kind of lousy adjustment mechanisms. All adjust a bypass, not the oil that passes through the piston of the shock. Basically that is what makes the shock do things at different piston speeds and you didn't have it.

I may try Koni Sport's up front and these STR.T's out back - as you compared them to a Sport on full soft, and a couple other folks mentioned the common setting for Sport rears is on full soft...just lookin to save a few bucks there if possible.

Welp, mine arrived today! That was very fast shipping for sure thanks strano!

I already have a very jam packed busy weekend, but i HOPE i can squeeze in installing these. Sorry i wont be able to do a comparo vs other aftermarket shocks since i am replacing my stockers with these. I really hope these make a difference for me in ride quality. I have DMS lowering springs btw. I will post back up here after i have had some seat time.

Id go ahead and replace the rear shocks now. First flip the rear seat down back the car up on a set of ramps, and I see no reason for it to take over 1 hour max.

Here's a few pics I snapped while install. Something That might be worth noting is the front lower spring seat was a TIGHT fit in the new perches. I had plenty of the usual install issues of rusty nuts n what not, but other than that it was fairly straight forward for the shocks.

Not F-body related, but I install a set of the Koni STR.T on a friends Civic along with H&R sport springs, and he's been very happy with the control the Koni's offer.. IMO, they seem to be a good option other than Bilsteins.

I do see by your photo's ( vSPECTRE ) the koni's are clearly shorter than the stock shocks which will help with the ride quality especially with lowering springs.

Can you explain this advantage?

With the shock being a little bit shorted it means you have more compression travel before your into the bump-stops and possibly bottom-out the suspension. So you'll have a better ride quality and more controlled handling. At slower speeds on very smooth roads you won't really notice it but at higher speeds over less than perfect roads you'll appreciate it.

bufmatmuslepants, I don't think your friend could go wrong either way.
Myself I'm mainly curious as to how well they will hold up over time, compared to the Bilstein HDs.

I planned on using new moog seats. Any difference to the supplied seats from Koni? In pictures it looks like the seat isn't as high as the factory/moog height.

It's all on and they are a sporty ride no doubt but IMO better than the Bilstein. I will post pictures tomorrow.

Glad you like. Exactly what I was expecting, and what I've found when comparing Bilstein and STR.T's on other cars (Mustang, BMW, and Honda primarily).

Got a couple fronts, no rears. Nobody can say I didn't warn the group about low stock and getting while the getting was good.

ETA on more rears... sometime in February, but backorders are already piling up for those, so the longer you wait, the longer you'll be waiting. Fronts after this last set I have is gone are also out, but more are already in transit (but not that many only like 20 car sets total), and will be here before the rears, likely to be 2-3 weeks from now.
