Default Rear Suspension Problem

Hi guys, I've recently acquired a '95 LT1 z28 M6. The car's got 37000 miles on it and runs like a dream. The problem is
the rear suspension feels really soggy, whilst the front feels firm and stable. If I pull out of a junction (left or Right with any hint of power the rear arches cut the tyres/foul body and the car goes all squirrely. The rear seems to roll a lot (is this normal ?) Also at high speeds with some turns, the back of the car feels like its floating around. The previous owner fitted KYB AGX's on the rear (which I would probably have bought next anyway).

I'm a bit miffed at spending the extra on a z28 just to have to replace most of the suspension to get it to handle, but then the motor makes up for that :->

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
