The outer sleeve/shaft is bolted to the torque arm using a 5/8" grade 8 bolt. That shaft OD gets the grease and acts just like any other torque arm. We went this route to make the front mount stronger. Our torque arm has a solid front mount (5/8" grade 8 bolt, outer steel sleeve, then bushing), all other torque arms just use the tubing to support the front load putting a single piece of 1.25"x.120" in most cases in bending. The 5/8" grade 8 bolt calculates to a single shear strength of 27,611.1 min/lbs. which is much stronger than round tubing in single shear.

when you say short arm, you mean a tunnel mount style TA?

I started the original Founder's Performance TA thread, and while I'm happy the product has finally been released, it concerns me the TA relocation bracket didn't come out at the same time, and doesn't appear to be on the horizon either.

I know some of you guys beat your cars like I do. I feel I, as well as yourselves, can get away with it a bit more due to the fact of a having a **** rubber bushing and a flexible stock torque arm... The transmission tailshaft isn't getting the full "brunt of force" if you will.

Founder's, I'm glad you guys pushed and got the product released, but a poly TA bushing and stronger torque arm (single shear strength 27,611.1 min/lbs....) sounds like a fine recipe for a busted transmission tailshaft, and quick.

SO, until you guys release the TA relo kit, is this product reciprocal / compatible with any other manufacturers relocation kits?

This will fit UMI's relocation kit. (I asked them) UMI and Founders use the same factory mounting point for the rubber/poly bushing.

It's supposed to work with any relocation brackets that also works with a stock TA since it is still using the stock clamshell to hold the bushing. I just ordered the TA and will shelve it for a little bit to see how long it will take them to start putting out the relo bracket. If it takes too long I will probably pickup the UMI one since they are supposed to play well together.

These will fit all torque arm relocation kits.

The introductory sale price of $179.06 will expire at the end of 08-15-2013 and return to the normal price of $223.82 so now is the time to order to save the extra $$$.

I received my shipping confirmation as well. I'll be installing the torque arm, Lower control arms, and relocation brackets one at a time so I can feel the difference each part makes. I'm very excited!

Also got my shipping confirmation. That was super fast. Too bad I won't be able to see or use it for another several months.

I'd love to have the Relocation Mount available too...

Guys with true duals can't run the shorter torque arm.
