Default New Rotor Help!

Hi all,

I need some help on rotor selection. The car is not autocrossed so I’m not looking for ***** to the wall performance. I’m looking for a good quality rotor with a nice appearance (sorry, no blanks). Appearance is key because I’ll be driving the car about 1K-3K miles a year and I have CCW 505A wheels which show the brakes.

I would consider a front brake upgrade (calipers & rotors) with new rotors in the rear, but I would want to keep it under $1,000 total & Plug n’ Play (not sure if that is possible). I want to use Hawk HPS pads, I have used them for years and I like them.

So far on my list if I just go the rotor route. They’re all about the same price ($400-$500) with the Baer being slightly more. Any I should stay away from?

I'm getting ready to upgrade my brakes too. I'm looking into EBC 3GD Slotted and dimpled rotors. they are stock size and there for you can use stock pads in whatever brand you want.

My friend has a set on a 340whp 85 MR2 and he says they are amazing for the price.

I've heard this alot from many different car guys with many different styles of cars and they've all said to stay away from drilled rotors because they are more prone to cracking under serious conditions.
