Default Good front brake system

Looking for a front brake system to take some weight off the front and possibly help stop the car better. Looking at the Wilwood system 140-10787. Anyone have any other ideas or good luck with any other system? Using 17" wheels on the front currently

What you mentioned is a great choice. Lightweight and great brakes.

Are those street brakes or drag only?

the wilwoods are a good choice...you can even get a 6-piston setup that will fit a 17" wheel.

i hear good things about stoptech but they don't fit the stock wheels...

you could also look for a base C6 setup if the car is reserved for street duty...this setup gives you the luxury of picking whatever rotor and pad combo you want and its cheap to maintain...

one thing i will say...is do it right and do it once.

i currently run a base C6 setup...i love the variety of parts i can run. I do a lot of lapping events, and sometimes i wish i had bitten the bullet and purchased wilwoods instead...on the other hand, i'm not interested in being married to a company for pads and rotors..that's just me. so it depends what you use your car for and/or what you want to do...

hope this helps.
