Why are you complaining? Are you not a fan of multiple options, competitive pricing and better materials/construction?
Even if the BMR's were cheaper, I'd still choose Founder's version. It's CNC'd from a solid piece of high grade aluminum. I'd rather have a solid one-piece than a welded, thin-looking bracket for this application.
Have you looked into BrakeMotive's stuff? I've heard good things about their rotors and they are located in south-side Chicago - about 30 minutes from you.
