Default ABS Code C0041 Question

Greetings All,

I have the unfortunate ABS INOP and ASR OFF issue after a track day. Picked up an Innova Equus 3160d scanner and just pulled the ABS code and it was a C0041. The description on the scanner was "Brake Pedal Switch B" however most of what I find on the OBD sites indicate its the "Right Front Wheel Speed Circuit Range/Performance". Is that just an issue with the scanner or are there actually sub-codes within the C0041 code?

Any thoughts on how to diagnose/repair this?

If it is the wheel speed sensor, do you have to replace the entire hub on the right side?

Thanks!

A simple thing to try is switching the hubs from left to right if the code bounces to the left it should verify the hub is bad. I had trouble chasing my code down and that ended up solving it. I had the multimeter out and every thing running through the checklist.

Do you have a Bluetooth OBD II ? I can send you a windows program for running codes. Just PM me.

I used a laptop and ScanXL for my abs code.

Take the sensor out and clean it!
