Default Rear Spring question

I am going on a road trip in a few months and there will be 4 of us in my car. Right now my rear springs are BMR with the HH mod. With just regular driving my fenders already slice my tires a bit. I will be rolling the fenders before I go either way. With 4 people in the car I don't want to rub the entire way and destroy my tires.

Would I be better off putting the stock springs and isolaters back in to raise the rear or would just the stock isolaters on top of the BMR's be good enough? Or will I just be fine in general after my fenders are rolled and the rear wheels will just be tucked up a bit?

id put the stock springs and isolators back in. Dont want to risk hitting a huge bump and slicing your tire.

I "road tripped" mine back in june, but I was by myself, I don't think I could stand a LONG drive with that many other people crammed into a car this size, but then again I get sudden fits of claustrophobia from time to time.

but I guess it depends on just how long a road trip where talking, mine was like 700 miles in 1 day to get there.

IMO, with the fender lips rolled and the stock isolators put back in with the BMR springs you'll probably be fine if both rear passengers are not more than 300 lbs total. BTW, if you also install a set of Air Assist air springs in the middle of the coil springs weight won't be any problem.

They love the car so they don't care. I drove from Milwaukee to Boston at the end of summer with a buddy. Went straight through. Was a blast. I really enjoy road trips so it doesn't bother me. Flew to vegas and drove back straight through with that too. Like 26hrs

Well the two back guys would be close to 300. then we have our luggage in the trunk. I know the spring rates are different between the BMR and the stockers so I just didn't know if the extra height with a softer spring would do more than the stiffer spring but lower.

I'd go ahead and get the Air Assist air springs , I suggested. I know you'll have not problem then with all the extra weight. BTW, the install is easy.
