need shocks input
Got a 2001 TA WS6. It's my DD so looking at some input on shocks. don't want to be cheap, but at the same time don't need adjustable koni's. Just looking for some something that rides well

A lot of people swear by the Bilsteins. Price is right and quality is well... I went with the KYB adjustables and if I could would take it back... Better than stock but wasn't hugely impressed with them

For a dd, bilsteins are fine. To me its a more comfortable ride on a dd than koni yellows. The konis are of course the best, but they are somewhat stiffer as there more of a racing shock. Some may say im wrong but that is just my observation of those two shocks. And i would stay away from any other brands like agx if you have the money to spend. If you search the forums there's tons of threads out there about the topic.

I did all this last summer. I ordered the SLP Bilsteins on EBAY and they come complete. Their bilsteins were cheaper than if I bought Bilsteins that were not SLP's if I remember correctly. I went with new Monroe mounts and inserts from Rock Auto. I took car and parts to have them installed and I saw there were empty boxes of Bilsteins in their trash can, the mechanic told me I made a good choice of shocks.

SLP changed the valving slightly on the regular shock. I recall these were installed on the SLP conversion cars. (Like the Firehawk.)
I have the SLP Bilsteins on my WS6 and they are fine except they don't seem to like really cold (sub-zero) tempertures and get a little stiff before they heat up on frigid days.
