Default Brembo's with 18x10.5 C5 DD

Just finished with my install. Went with the 5th gen Brembo, pads and rotors. Had to use a 15mm spacer to clear my 18x10.5 C5 DD, they poke more than I'd like, not sure what I am going to do in the long run. I'm stuck on stock springs, do you think they would tuck a little better once I get it lowered someday?

Not going to tuck anymore. Your best bet is some other wheels. Try getting the 8.5s for the front. That's what I have on mine with some eibach spacers and it fits perfect.

bummer, I haven't had the car outside yet to get a real good look. But looking at it in the garage I'm not overly excited with how it turned out.

The offset is prob too much. I have c6 z06 brakes and the 18 x 8.5s with a small hub centric spacer fits perfect

Here's where my C5 DD 18x9.5's sit. I bet with a spacer you could make them fit under it and still keep it from poking. I need to get a spacer anyways.

I may take the front coil/shock out so I can mock it up and see how it looks a little lower. If it still does not look right, I'm going to have to sell or trade these to get the 18x9.5 wheels for the front.

15mm sounds like a big spacer. Do you still run stock spec wheel studs? I'd be more concerned about safety rather than looks in this case.

I did some minor racing with the 17x11 50mm offset vette wheels with about a 3/8th of an inch spacer and swapped to ARP wheel studs to be as safe as possible.

It's an Eibach hubcentric spacer, and I'm using the extended lugs.

I think you are right, the 9.5's with a 15mm spacer would be about perfect. Wish I was thinking ahead more when I ordered these wheels....

Really not that bad looking to me...why not get a lil spacer for the rear so all 4 wheels look the same

I was able to get the car out for a test drive today, after the suspension has settled again it looks much better! So much better in fact that I am happy with how to turned out and am not going to switch to a 9.5 wheel. At some point I'm going to go with the Viking coilovers and get this car sitting right, I think these wheels and the spacers will look perfect.

Also going to get the same spacers for the rears which will put them pretty close to flush with the rear fender.
