Default Experience with coil overs

I'm looking for some input on which company makes the best coil overs as far as widest adjustability goes... I was looking at a set of AFCO double adjustables all the way around which ws6store has for ~1440 or so... would there be a better route to go/higher quality coil over set available without going to $2000+ for a set...?

Thanks for your input

There's some coilovers on frrax. They are rather extreme and geared toward racing only.

I am selling a practically brand new setup (was used for 40 minutes at Road Atlanta before the car was totaled--and no I wasn't driving lol). This is the race Bilsteins, adjustable coil overs, 1000# front springs and 400# rear springs. It was setup to run the UE lowering PHB brackets, but I am not sure if I can get the ones I have back off without damaging the brackets or the rear end. This setup was $2K without the drop brackets or Afco spring locators ($70 extra, but included). I will sell everything pictured for $1500 shipped. Thanks

Damn 1000 and 400 rates are a little bit more than I was looking at! I bet that thing would annihilate the corners. I'm looking for more of a drag setup that I can adjustable to have very good street manors and not turn into a total boat.

Any input on such a setup?

Afco's are nice as are Vikings.

Check this page to see the Vikings along with our new rear coilover kit.

Let me know if you'd like help selecting the rates.

What interests me about the Afcos, is from there description anyway, the adjustment almost resembles that of a spool valve shock without any physical 'clicks' or specifici increments you have to utilize. Of course for the price of ~1400 for a set they can't be true spool valve shocks but the resemblance is slick.

What I was hoping was that someone would chime in with experience in any of them; ups and downs of one particular coil over vs another. Again with a bias towards drag but still looking for great street composure.

I would contact Eric at MWC or he'll probably chime in here to as well, but I would highly recommend the viking da. 18 adjustments in c and r so you have range to find your sweet spot you like. I currently only have experience with the rear but will have fronts too eventually

I would look at DA's for the front(at least), since good ride/handling and drag settings will be almost opposite (high R/low C, vs high C/low R) and adjusting for both to your liking will be more possible with DA's vs SA's shocks.

Yes, all the shocks/coilovers I'm looking at are all double adjustable.
