Unhappy So much for German engineering

Hope Bilstein warranty is good to deal with... This is on my RS.

Anyone can have a defect... Hence the warranty.

Looks like it was cracked a long time ago given the rust on the broken surfaces.

Could be a defect in the metalurgy. It actually happened at the time of install many moons ago, and I had to use it as-is at the time since the car had to be driven.

Installed ~Oct-2010, so about 31,500 mi. on the Bilsteins I estimate.
