Question sway bar rubbing

I just installed a 25mm rear non adjustable bmr sway bar today and have bilstein shocks. I noticed there was some wear on the shocks where the sway bar seems to be rubbing. the wear was there before I installed the new bar but now when I take sharp turns it sounds like it is hitting. my rear axel is about a little less then a half inch off to the drivers side. will an adjustable phr fix that problem? still stock height btw. 2002 z28

I have seen more than a handful of customers install them upside down so that may be a possibility. You should have absolutely no clearance issues with our rear sway bar and the Bilstein shocks. Is there any way you can post some pictures of the rear sway bar installed on the car and the area where there are clearance issues?

Recently installed lowering springs/shocks and new sway bar. The links were a tad too long (stock length) and the ends of the sway bar actually sat lower than the bottom of the shock mount. Replaced the spacer with one about 1/2" shorter and it sits much better now. It appears that lowering springs will cause the links to make the ends of the sway bar be lower than stock height. However, it didn't come close to the shocks.
