Default Question to BMR on their torque arms

GM torque arms for 98-02 Camaros(assuming situation is the same for Firebirds) lists a GM#10034255 for A4 and GM#10413903 for M6. How does your TA002 non-adjustable basic OEM replacement arm have the ability to cover both applications ? You don't list one for A4 and one for M6.

I am not sure why GM has two different part numbers because the factory torque arms are interchangeable between the A4 and M6 cars. I know that the torque arm mounts that bolt to the transmission are different but that is the only thing. Our BMR long style torque arms (MTA001, TA001, and TA002) will definitely fit without any issue whether you have an A4 or M6.

That is definitely weird because they are interchangeable. I will get with my contact at GM and see why they offer the two different part numbers and I find anything out I will post it up in this thread.

The M6 torque arm is beefier then the a4 torque arm.

Which still pales in comparison to an aftermarket tubular unit.

I have the BMR adjustable torque arm. The thing is a beast.

They may have the same mounting locations but they are definitely not the "same" arm, hence the difference in part numbers. The M6 arm has an additional internal brace plate with two nuts welded to it (no idea what they are for), the auto doesn't have this.
