Default Too low for exhaust

I recently bought this 2001 SS. It has a eibach pro kit with decarbon shocks.
It handles and rides pretty good, but the problem is my y-pipe keeps dragging. I love the lowered look but would like to raise it a little for more clearance for the exhaust. It is not a daily driver. Any suggestions?

Same problem here but I only rub on a few spots leaving my house. Not on the road over bumps but. If you don't wanna change the springs maybe you can have the exhaust raised up a inch if you have space.. or nextime you get new tires and rims get a little taller overall. . I'm ordering 18s with a slightly bigger tire this winter so I'm just hoping that raises me up enough. .. but for now I just go the wrong way on my one way road to avoid the bumps.

Just looked at you car. It looks like uve got nice looking tire size and only alittle gap between the fender in the back so I would try and work with the exhaust if you don't wanna change suspension or wheels

The y-pipe hangs pretty low. I have Pacesetter headers and High flow cats. It looks like the SFC might be in the way. Have to get it in the air to take a look.

That's not THAT low. Go to an exhaust shop and have a custom Y pipe made that tucks up higher. Or make it out of oval pipe to gain ground clearance.

Ok, took a closer look at the y-pipe and noticed it is rusted though where it connects to the exhaust.
It also is sitting to close to the SFC to be pushed up. I would like to go with a stainless y-pipe so this doesn't happen again.
Is their a stainless y-pipe that attaches to pacesetter headers and exhaust without to many modifications?
Should I switch out the 3 point SFC with 2 point to allow more room for the y-pipe?

Your Eibach springs may be sagging so I would take a ride height measurement on all four corners of where the car currently is sitting and we can determine if the Eibach lowering springs are lowering your car more than they should be. I have some stock ride height numbers from a couple different cars so if you PM the measurements of your ride height I can compare them and see how much lower the car really is.

Can you post a pic of the ground clearance. I am quite low and the only thing I scrape on is my DS loop sometimes

I'm on BMR springs and Koni SA shocks. Fronts are on lower perch and rears have the HH mod. I sit quite low but I have no issues. I don't daily my car all the time but I drive it quite a bit.

The problem is the SFC"s are in the way otherwise I would be able to move the y-pipe up.

Its not too low... But almost every car ive owned has been lowered so im used to it. My 99 ss has the same stance and rims. I just go over everything at an angle. But my y pipe is scratched up nasty on the drivers side. Ima go with a x pipe soon and should still have enough clearance. But its no longer a daily.

I've checked out a few pictures of other members cars and their y-pipes are pretty far away from their SFC's.
When I get a new y-pipe I will see if it has better clearance than the one I have now. If not, I might have to switch to a 2-point SFC.

Ah I see that now. That's the issue ha. Get 2 point ones and then build our own 3rd connection. I only have 2pt but they are welded in then my DS loop ties the tunnel together. I was eventually going to make the 3rd point but I just haven't gotten around to it. I will on my other car.
