Default Bump steer problem

Hey guys so I aligned my car after the passengers side was suffering more negative tire wear and my specs are now:
Both sides -1.2 camber
Both sides +5.5 caster
Both sides 0.0 toe

After double checking everything with several caster sweeps, my car is still getting annoying bump steer. Also when coming to a stop light at around 10mph the steering likes to wonder but the steering seems firm when stoping from 60-0 hard or soft.

I know these stock racks don't need bump steer kits but any ideas on what I should do?

Thanks

Still have the same unevenly worn tires on the front?

A bit of toe in would help with the darting/wandering side to side. Toe set to 0 leads to toe out while driving from suspension/steering flex.

How much bump steer do you have? What have you done to correct it? And why do you think that the stock rack doesn't need a bump steer kit?

How are you measuring your bump steer?

That's not bumpsteer.... Bumpsteer is exactly what it sounds like, steering that comes from 'bump' or when the suspension compresses. This car doesn't have bad bumpsteer issues unless you slam it.

More aggressive alignments and camber angles cause some more pull in the ruts of a road. You have zero toe, some toe in will make it more stable, but it also depends on how worn your LCA bushings are, particularly the rear lower position of the front arm.

And bigger, wider, stickier, shorter/stiffer sidewall tires make more pull too.

Thanks Sam, ill take a look at the LCA bushings next time im on the lift to give a little toe in. The bushings actually were replaced 3 years ago with the stockers which at the time I did not install. I paid someone at that time. If my LCA’s need bushings, is it worth putting poly’s on stock arms? BTW about the sidewalls, im running Michelin Super Sports on all 4 corners 255/40 18’s (97Y) up front and 295/35 18 (103Y) out back.

Well sometimes guys press the rear "caster" bushing into far which stretches the arm and lets it move around and that causes all kinds of fun. Much worse than just a worn bushing there.

Poly? No, I'd not do that as that same position's bushing I've seen fail in a day. The Poly bushings designs are terrible.
