Default Rear drag brakes for occasional street use

I've got a set of Wilwood Racing drag brakes solid rotor 4 Piston calipers and I was wondering if I would be able to get by running them on the street for occasional use.I know it's not advisable, especially because of rotor distortion. Just hoping it will work. Has anyone tried this?

I run strange drag brakes on the rear. No issues so far in 3 years.

Yes I know there are very good product, but my situation is I have the brake Kit are ready and wondering how long it will last on the street. I know it's not ideal, but if it will work reasonably well. I would like to try it instead of buying another complete rear brakes set up.

If your worried about the pads running down quick mine haven't seemed to be lower than when they were new. And I've been driving since March with the new rear and such. I say go for it. I have the strange set up tho not wilwood but I can't tell any difference stopping with these than regular brakes.
