If you can give me the part number of the shock you are after I'll be happy to look into pricing.

Weekend reminder, that we will do our best to beat anyone's prices on shocks and purchase with confidence from a company that has been putting coil overs on F-Bodys probably longer than anyone else and if not more.

We have the knowledge to get you into the proper spring rate and give you tech help long after the sale as there is no one spring works for all, so much is involved with the proper spring rate and length most wouldn't even know the proper questions to ask.

What would you suggest for the back of a street car? 3520 with driver, 9" rear 28" radials with viking coilovers up front. Having traction issues. Currently have Comp Eng shocks with v6 springs, had eibachs. Car makes 600/520 through the auto. thanks

You are already familiar with Viking so I'd suggest going with them for the rear, the question is do you want coil over or not for the rear?

I'm not sure. I'm not opposed to it, but spring rates, etc are currently confusing me. Really fighting finding traction on the street

Traction and street generally are not two words that go together. We can set you up with shocks and springs but that still doesn't mean a car will hook on an unprepared surface.

Quality components are just part of the battle, testing and more testing is the only way to improve 60' times.

How much weight will a coil over(front and rear) set up shed? Are the front coil over a bolt in style w/o having to remove the upper control arm?

My fronts really didn't shed no weight going from stock shocks and Bmr springs to AFCO SA coil overs on front.

You do not have to take the upper control arms off to install the front coil-overs and if you was to install a set of Vikings you would probably see a little difference in weight because of the aluminum body compared to the steel of an Afco.

There is some weight savings but not a ton. As for install you have to move a few items out of the way to make the swap easier.

When I weighed them, it was about 4lbs per side of savings from the stock front setup to Viking coilovers

I'm not even working on 60' times. I'm trying to get it to not blow the tires off at a 40mph roll with a 275/60 r15 drag radial
