Default Lower rear shock mount

Just received my new Koni Str.t and they appear to just have a nut and bolt to mount to the rear end. The stock shock bolt seems to have a spacer to shim the shock away form the rear end mount. Do in need a similar spacer or do they just bolt up without?

I have QA1's on my car and they use a nut & bolt also. I put in a couple of 1/2" washers between the shock and the mount so the shock wouldn't rub. You don't need much clearance, about 1/8" should be sufficient.

I have the same issue and have had them installed for several months. I did put in several washers.

If the new shock comes with a standard bushing and sleeve, then maybe a set of transverse shock mounts would be a good idea.
