What Else To Do Suspension Wise (97 Z28)?
97 Z28, solely street driven, maybe a few track passes, don't drive often, weekend toy etc.
Current suspension mods are as follows:
- UMI 2pt STB
- UMI 2 pt weld-in SFC's
- UMI PHB (single on car adju poly / roto)
- UMI LCA's (single on car adju poly / roto)
- UMI LCA brackets (bolt in)
- Energy Suspension Black rear poly endlinks
- UMI DS safety loop (tunnel mounted)
- Sam Strano springs
- Bilstein SLP shocks
Next suspension mods that I was personally thinking):
- UMI 1993 - 1997 GM F-Body Torque Arm Relocation Kit - Automatic
- UMI 1982 - 2002 GM F-Body Rear Torque Arm Hardware Kit
- UMI 1982 - 2002 GM F-Body Transmission Mounted Adjustable Torque Arm
- UMI 93-02 GM F-Body Solid Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit
- Energy Suspension new front black poly endlinks
- Blaine Fab front heavy duty black powdercoated sway bar mounts
- New Energy Suspension front and rear sway bar black poly greaseable bushings
- UMI Aftermarket Rear End Sway Bar Installation Kit- Stock Rear (New U-Bolts and clamps for the rear axle)
Anything else I'm missing? I don't rest of the currents to get the front suspension stuff such as upper and lower a-arms etc.
I'd prefer if everything had atleast one adjustability to it.
Thanks,
Devin

Depends on where you want to focus your performance goals. If you want to do some autocross events or street handling the you are probably fine with what you have. If you want to hook hard and get good 60s at the dragstrip then you will need to change a couple things.

Here is a little more about the car:
- drive about 1k miles a year
- right about 100% on the street with street pulls
- I like to hit it in the corners if I have an opening
- mostly rolls races or digs on the street
Basically figured a full single adjustable suspension is light years better then stock.

Yea you'd save over 20lbs of unsprung weight by going with Strano's hollow sway bar set. Also for a little more you can get his adjustable rear sway bar so you can set it up to perform best whether you're at the track or at the strip.
A big part of this is understanding how all your parts work together and in turn how adjust them depending on what kind of racing you'll be doing.
