Car bottoms out 
I bought a 2000 trans am convertible that is lowered. The problem is the car bottoms out all the time in the rear Shocks seem ok. I also have 18 inch wheels. Thinking about going back to a stock coil springs. Any ideas???????????????????? 
See if you can tell what kind of springs are on the car. Also see if they are the stock shocks. If they are Eibach Sportlines, I had problems with my car bottoming also. If you want the car lowered and don't want bottoming out problems, you need it to either not be as low, use higher rate springs, and get some shocks that help dampen the impacts. Vauge help, but without more detail can't really suggest what to buy.

Sounds like you need more spring rate out back , probably all the way around. Adjustable koni sports are awsome but shouldnt be used to bandaid bad springs. . . .time to start fresh
