Default Newbie needs help

I have a 98 Camaro with stock springs and shocks. I want to do a drop and some good shocks. Not sure if this matters but the car will see some drag strip time. Any suggestions?

Lots of threads out there. Basically you have a choice up front: do you want a drag setup that will be bomb at the track and be adequate for the street (as long as you aren't carving up corners) or do you want a really solid street setup that will be good in corners and give up some time at the strip?
