Cutting torque arm for yank trans crossmember
I bought a yank transmission crossmember quite a while ago for my m6. I have a bad wheel hop problem and like the idea of relocating the torque arm. In hindsight it's been a pain in the ***. Had to have 1" spacers fabricated, cut the top portion of the crossmember among other things. Also, nearly impossible to talk to anyone at yank, much less get help.
The latest situation is that the toque arm needs to be cut (or the crossmember). If I cut about 1" off the end of the torque arm, can I later have it welded it back on?
Thanks
