Default adjusting tick master?

how do you do the adjusting i read a few posts on it, had it adjusted out a ways but it felt weird because the clutch was at the top of the pedal, then adjusted it in but now i'm still getting a bit of sticky pedal, not 100% all the air is out but bled it a fair amount of times

Why was this moved from manual transmission. This is for clutch adjustment and has nothing to do with suspension or brakes?

idk why its here but illl answer it. generally a good place to start is with the clutch pedal just below the brake pedal. Once there try to put the car in gear with it on, if the shifter wont go in release the pedal, adjust the master out 1 turn and try again. do this until the transmission goes into gear without a fight. then go drive the car and do some wot shifting. if everything seems good then you're done if not adjust it a little further and try again. my pedal ended up being just below the brake pedal but i made it level with the brake because I like the feel better and a little extra travel to make sure i'm getting full release when I speed shift

adjust the clutch pedal all the way to the firewall, and work
your way out. too much throw on the rod will blow out a
pressure plate in one push of the clutch.

ask me how i know.

Im a little bit under the break pedal right now, seems to shift good but it engages real close to the top and i'm thinking its almost to close and risk slipping the clutch, might have to adjust it out a little bit more but i'm scared to blow everything out also

the tick is going to make it release quickly, right at the top
of the throw. don't adjust it too far out or you'll blow out the
pp fingers.

you just have to adjust the switch under the dash. i thought the same
on my gto until i adjusted the bracket.

are the gto brackets the same on the fbody, i've never knew u can adjust the bracket

Thanks man, i adjusted today and now i have cruise control now. i was without cruise control for 4 years lol

nice ! glad you got it back. i figured the bracket was the same, but the only
f body i'd been around was our gutted road race car, and it didnt have cruise
