QA1 Shocks vs. the world
#22
MCS, Motion Control Suspension. Former Moton USA guys (before the AST debacle). Really nicely built and unlike many, DURABLE. HUGE range of damping, just such a big range it wasn't all that useful because I wasn't looking for a scatter-shot approach, but a more fine tuned damper within a range.

I've been working with another company on shocks they want to market, and they have been working with various companies including Viking and AFCO. Let me tell you getting a valving to where we want it, not been easy even after multiple tries.
...
...
And full disclosure. I can sell QA1 and Viking too. I dont' have them on the website because I don't believe in them. But if you want to run them and you're sure, I'd be happy to quote you some... just so you understand that I'm not telling you this because I can't supply them. That's not the issue at all.

Did that company that you were working with get the valving right and subsequently push that technology to Viking? I notice you have some Viking coilovers listed on your website now. How does that Viking set perform in relation to other shocks/Coilovers that you have listed? I know this thread has been dead a few years but I definitely value your opinion. Many on this forum, including myself, see you as an expert in evaluating suspension systems for obvious reasons.
Thanks!

If you want to talk shocks call me. I've pretty much given up trying to explain things to people online because it's a little more black magic than is easily done, and inevitably you run into a I read on the internet kind of statement. I can't control the internet and I can't control every stupid thing that's ever been said on it. And it's very hard to argue against hearsay.
