Default Pinion angle ?

Does anyone know if I should cut the tip of the TA a little bit so it doesn't stick out to far. Is this normal?

should be fine, there shouldn't be any reason you need to cut the end of it off, it needs to be able to move around a bit anyways. Unless its hitting something or your a hard core weight saver then I guess you could.

There is absolutely no reason to cut the end of the torque arm at all. It is supposed to stick out through the bushing because it will move back and forth through the bushings as the rear suspension moves through its range of motion.

Just a update...installed the BMR adjustable tq arm and relocation brackets. Started in 3rd hole from bottom, pinion angle -.5. Still had zero traction. moved up to the 5th hole and -2 degree pinion angle and the car is hooking much Better. Almost seems like I could go to the 6th hole but I am going to get new DR's first being my toyos are down into the wear bars. However I am very happy with the results so far.

To give a example: I went from not being able to go past half throttle in first gear to just slight needing to lift in first gear from a dig. First gear will now stick from a low roll instead of going straight to the limiter.
