Default Brake motive (yes the eBay one) on 2000 camaro review

First day with these, installed them with a hell of a lot of grease.
I bought all 4 drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads and I have zero squeal.

They are also really really good at stopping!

Any one have these?
Similar experience?
Bad experience?

They are what I've been running for years. Pretty much don't run anything else as I've been happy with the quality of them and the price is hard to beat.

I've had them on my 1999 TA for 3 or 4 years and they still look and feel good. Minor surface rust in the spring after sitting in the garage for 6 months, but after the first drive they look great again.

I've been running mine for almost 3 years now I guess. I've had zero issues and very minimal brake dust. They have far exceeded my expectations considering what I paid for them.

Another positive review here. Had them for two years now and no issues. Plenty of meat left on the pads, no squeaking and great stopping power. One of the best mods you can do for a couple hundred dollars.

That's funny. I'm actually on here to find who I bought my rotors + pads from a while back because I forgot their name until I saw this. I bought rotors and pads from them 4.5 years and 33,500 miles ago. I went with blanks last time but this time ill get the drilled slotted.
Are they not a sponsor anymore? I don't see them listed.

Week later update:

Minimal brake dust probably 200 miles of hard driving. I race a lot so brakes get hit hard. They STOP my car for not being semi metallic. I love these brakes. I used to feel fade after 140 MPH stopping and I haven't noticed any

I use their stuff on the street all the time, cheap, good quality and works well. I even had 1 auto-x day on my current set (not as much bite as I would have liked, but not a big deal).

Do you have a part number for the pads?

Cool thank you. My crappy o'reilly pads aren't cutting it anymore. They can't even handle regular driving.

I have their rotors and pads on all for my Z. Love the rotors (drilled/slotted) but hate their pads. They suck! Will not stop when wet at all! Other than that I love the rotors. My nephew put a set of these rotors on his 2010 ss after i put mine on. He loves them too. Same with pads. Hated them Squilled like a banshee. Autozone pads stopped the noise tho.

All pads won't grab quite as well when wet at first for obvious reasons, but I've not stopping issues with them nor noise problems.

I bought the Ebay brakes for my Viper (front and rear) a while back to save about $800 dollars over the Viper up charge parts. I had no squeel or problems. They worked perfect and no different than normal rotors offered for 5X the price. I also use those rotors/pads for my rear brakes on the TA.

There are several ebay companies that sell the same rotors/pads from China at super cheap for those on a super budget.

Me too. Bought a set about six months ago. Love them on my 2000 TA. They really screwed up the order though. First they sent me two front sets. Then when the sent my rears they sent more front pads. I was in the middle of the install when I noticed. I should have caught it. So I had to get shitty oreily back pads. But their customer service is great. Full refund for the cost of the oreily pads. Then I noticed some machining errors on the front rotors. I sent them a picture and they sent me new front rotors and let me keep the defective ones. There was a few pits right by the drill holes . That's it,they'd probably crack eventually, but I'm still running them and saving the new ones for later. Brake dust and squeal is not bad at all.(with the exception of the oreily back pads) Dust overload on those. But I have no complaints with brakemotive , their parts ,or their excellent customer service.

Coming up on 4 years with mine (~40k). I've only warped one front rotor in that time with daily driving. Got a discounted replacement pair and now have a spare. From last inspection the pads still had a decent amount of material on them.

The pads are typical ceramic and perform best when hot. They're not as good as a semi-metallic pad when cold or at slow speeds, but the lack of brake dust is worth it.

Bought these for both of my F-bodies. Trans am they are prefect. On the Firebird the front squealed a ton long after the break in period. But they sent me a new set of front pads under warranty. Other then that I have no complaints either. Stop like they should, even under heavy braking they seem great to me.

Thought I might add to the review. Bought these for my 69 camaro. Opening the box.. my ceramic pads are cracked and chucks are missing. I sent a message to them ebay. Hopefully they will email me back.
