........is it maxed out and still positive camber or are you just not getting the numbers that you want

Edit* - Just to make sure you know, maxing out your camber isn't necessarily a bad thing... It's not like maxing out your injectors or anything

It will kill the inside of the tire w/ the quickness if it's really bad.

OP, adjustable lower control arms or elongating the factory holes will allow better camber.

I agree. HOWEVER, maybe we should start by defining what you mean by the camber being "maxed out"......

FWIW, I elongated the bolt holes, but I did it so long ago, I forget how much I did....maybe 5/16".

i was able to get -1.1 with elongating the slot slightly.

okay, it's negative... how negative is it? Performance cars should have some negative camber anyway. If it's street only then you clearly don't want too much, but you also do not need to be within the ridiculous stock specs either.

That's not exactly specific. What are the specs? Toe will also wear the inside out quickly, as will worn bushings. Slow down and tell me what the alignment sheet said before you go cutting on stuff.

Ok i got under my car today and looked at the control arm slots,looks like i have plenty of room to move the arm enough for proper alignment,so no slotting needed,apparently ive been using a incompotent alignment shop,with that being said what should i have the alignment set to,my car is a daily driver,about fifty miles a day,i understand there is a better alignment than stock.....thanks

Since you're talking daily driver, my suggestion would be this:

Camber......0*, both sides;
Caster......4.5-5* on the drivers side, and a touch more on the passenger side, to allow for "road crown";
Toe-in.....in digital-speak, .02-.03* per side. In mathematical numbers, about 1/16" total, 1/32" per side.

I'm glad you looked. And sorry to have been blunt about this, but it happens a LOT that alignment shops suck and/or people jump to conclusions.

I'd still run a little camber, -.5 for me. But the caster and toe leadfoot 4 stated are what I'd do.
