There are number of advantages....

1. The STR.T's have a little more rebound damping control.

2. The STR.T's come with a new bumpstop and dust boot on the front as well as a new lower spring perch (the metal one you still need the plastic spacer that sits on it). Bilstein fronts are bare shocks, that's it, the shock and you reuse the stock boot and bumpstop. Also the Koni's use a longer more progressive bumpstop which is less abrupt when you hit it.

3. Warranty. SLP bought Bilstein's (remember same valving as HD's) are the ones that are priced about the same as the STR.T's, but SLP's have a 90 day warranty vs. the Koni Lifetime. Bilstein HD are lifetime as well, but cost more money (and still the fronts are bare shocks only).
