ACDelco 177-1145 and 177-1146 on Amazon. They're the two-piece "upgrade" option for the CTS-V. Supposedly people were getting these at no charge when they were bringing their V's in for an odd noise up front.

If you give Stoptech a call, they make a 4 pot setup that goes for $2500. They don't have it on their site, but they put it together for my class (NASA Camaro Mustang Challenge). Also, don't forget about Corvette offerings. If you have the C5 caliper bracket, you can then run any 6 pot made for the Corvette. I know Wilwood has some economical offerings.

Did NASA recently change the rules to allow for non-stock front brakes in CMC 1 (I did not think that they even allowed it in CMC-2!)??

Hasn't been split into 1/2 for several years. 4 pot calipers got allowed into 2, then were included when CMC merged back into 1 class.

Unless you're talking about road racing with R-Compound tires.....then an upgrade will help substantially. Street use, they will do nothing.

So I'm guessing the expense is keeping people from wasting money.

Well said...the f body brakes passed down from the C5 Corvette are excellent for normal driving

we’re you able to get the brakes to work with that offset?
