Hotchkis spring install I finally started installing the springs on my car. I had a shop do the change of the springs on the strut assembly as I did not have a spring compressor. When I got the shocks back, I noticed that they would not bolt up. The tower mounts were backwards, they needed to be turned 180 degrees. I ended up going back to the shop and we compressed the shock and rotated the plastic isolator on the bottom of the shock mount to make it line up correctly. Anyone else have that issue with new springs? I haven't put them in the car yet. Thanks

Just did shocks/struts and springs last week, and no I didn't have that problem. You probably wouldn't have had that problem had you rented some spring compressors and done the job yourself definitely more cost effective as well as less driving back and forth. You can rent them from autozone for like $5 for future reference and would be my recommendation on similar future jobs.
