I got a new set of control arms seems to me there's alot of room in-between the rod end bushing and the mounting bracket is this correct or am I missing something?

Pics, they're worth a thousand words. From what you're explaining there should be a sleeve that is the same width as the mounting bracket that the control arm bolt goes through. Not sure though. Pretty vague, what brand are they?

When you use rod ends in those rear control arms there's stepped bushing that take up the extra width like shown in the link below.

You would need 2 bushings per rod end
