Where to start with suspension.
Hey all, was looking at getting the ws6 ready to go to the track this spring and make some good passes. Cars stalled auto dynoed 492whp and 447wtq have umi torque arm and SFC that's it. What all should I buy to start with and what works best for street strip cars?

It sometimes get's difficult to build a "street/strip" car.
You didn't mention your current shock/spring set up.
One of the issues is that the springs for street/handling are probably not going to be a great choice when it comes to the strip. If you split the difference in the rates you may have a car that is just ok handling and ok at the track.
If this is what you are trying to accomplish it isn't that difficult.
I would recommend calling a shop that manufactures components you are looking at, that way you can discuss in detail what you are trying to accomplish with your car and won't end up purchasing products that aren't correct for what you are doing.

I would start with shocks and go from there depending on what you are doing with the car I would suggest Viking coil-overs in the front and the smooth body shock in the rear. If you have any questions or advice on what parts you need please give us a call we will get you the right selection of parts the first time.

Well its all stock suspension wise. the most I do with the car on the street is highway and in town, so no switchback mountain passes or hard corners. was looking at shocks I hear control arms are good to have. i'll be sure to give mwc a call thanks
