Madman Torque Arm installation

Madman Torque Arm installation Okay, I have a madman tq arm set up second hand from a friend who parted his car out (1998 camaro) and plan to install it on my 1994 camaro.
The passenger side reaches the frame connector and bolts into the floor without issue, but the driver side does not. When bolted to the floor, the end is about 1.5in below the frame connector. Anyone ever see this?
Easiest solution seems to be to cut the tabs and just weld her in to the frame connectors.
